The board of directors of CHK Oil Limited announced that, with effect from 2 July 2024, Mr. Li Siu Bun ("Mr. Li") has resigned as the company secretary of the Company (the "Company Secretary"); (ii) Ms. Liu Xiaoting ("Ms. Liu") will be appointed as the Company Secretary of the Company. Ms. Liu graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from The University of Sydney in October 2007 and a Master of Financial Analysis from University of New South Wales, Australia in August 2010. Ms. Liu is a member of both Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the CPA Australia.

Prior to joining the Company, she was working in the position as a company secretary and/or senior positions in finance management at companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Stock Exchange"). From October 2010 to February 2015, Ms. Liu was working at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Li will cease to be the authorised representative of the Company for the purpose of Rule 3.05 of The Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on the Stock Exchange (the "Listing Rules") and the authorised representative of the Company for accepting on the Company's behalf service of process or notice to be served on the Company in Hong Kong under the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 622 of the Laws of Hong Kong) (the "Companies Ordinance") (collectively, the "Authorised Representative"), and Ms. Liu will be appointed as the Authorised Representative for the purposes of the Listing Rules and the Companies Ordinance, with effect from 2 July 2024.
