China Television Company, Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 191.820 million compared to TWD 182.822 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 20.816 million compared to TWD 54.743 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 2.793 million compared to TWD 34.657 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.02 compared to TWD 0.23 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 360.847 million compared to TWD 333.361 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 62.610 million compared to TWD 120.391 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 28.734 million compared to TWD 85.909 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.19 compared to TWD 0.57 a year ago.
China Television Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the provision of television advertising services. The Companyâs primary business includes the provision of television (TV) advertisement broadcasting services, the publishing and issuing of broadcasting news and programs, the copyright distribution of channels and digital programs, the operation of office websites, the distribution of advertising, as well as the provision of integrated marketing solution services. The Company is also involved in the provision of leasing services of studio equipment, sets and props. The Company operates its businesses primarily in Taiwan market.
