  • 　　On January 9, Port Gentle Stadium undertaken by China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd. (CSCEC) was opened. Gabonese President Ali Bongo attended the ribbon cutting ceremony.
    At the ceremony, the Gabonese Minister of Youth and Sports addressed the ceremony on behalf of his government, and awarded honors to responsible personnel for stadium construction. Hong Gang, Deputy General Manager of CSCEC Middle and West Africa in charge of the stadium construction was awarded the 'Chevalier of the National Order of Merit from Gabon'. Hu Changchun, Chinese Ambassador in Gabon, and major leading officials of CSCEC Middle and West Africa attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony. (from Overseas Operations)
