  • 　　　　Recently, China General Chamber of Commerce-Bahamas (CGCC-Bahamas) was officially established in Nassau, the capital of Bahamas. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Huang Qinguo, the Chinese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Bahams, Wang Qingjun, counselor in Chinese Embassy in Bahamas and Qu Ying, First Secretary in charge of the Commercial Office. Wu Taizhong, the President of China Construction America (CCA), was elected as the first Chairman of the CGCC Bahamas.
    As the first commerce organization of Chinese enterprises in Bahamas, the CGCC Bahamas includes such member enterprises as CSCEC, the Export-Import Bank of China, China Harbor Engineering Company Ltd., Qinghua Tongfang, Huawei and many other enterprises influential at home. Its members' business covers construction, real estate, finance, telecommunication, and container inspection. (from CCA)
