Net Generation of Subsidiary Power Plants

in the First Two Months of 2020 Decreased by 8.6%

China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited ("CR Power", stock code: 0836) today announced that total net generation of subsidiary power plants in February 2020 decreased by 13.6% to 9,393,855MWh from 10,878,222MWh for the same period of 2019. Total net generation of subsidiary power plants for the first two months of 2020 decreased by 8.6% to 22,627,012MWh compared to 24,764,787MWh for the same period last year.

On a same plant basis, total net generation of subsidiary coal-fired power plants for the first two months of 2020 decreased by 18.0% compared to the same period of 2019. Power plants located in Hubei, Jiangsu, Henan, Hebei, Guangdong and Other provinces recorded 33.4%, 22.5%, 15.7%, 6.7%, 3.4% and 16.0% decreases year on year, respectively.
