China Metal Products Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 2,341.945 million compared to TWD 3,657.710 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 159.754 million compared to TWD 331.849 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 70.308 million compared to TWD 192.370 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.18 compared to TWD 0.5 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 4,608.128 million compared to TWD 7,444.781 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 172.574 million compared to TWD 695.401 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 12.802 million compared to TWD 361.827 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.03 compared to TWD 0.94 a year ago.
CHINA METAL PRODUCTS CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of cast iron products. The Companyâs main products include reinforced steel bars, steel billets and iron castings, which are applied in the steel material processing and smelting, automobile spare parts, construction hardware components, mechanical and hand tool parts, as well as transmission system parts, among others. The Company also involves in the operation of department stores, hotels and amusement parks, as well as the construction, sale and leasing of real estate.
