In May 2024 XIESA has been awarded accreditation by the Federal Aviation Administration.

XIESA is a Safran Landing Systems and China Eastern Airlines joint venture based in Xi'an, China specialized in the maintenance, repair and overhaul operations for aircraft landing gear. Safran Landing Systems and China Eastern Airlines announced the creation of XIESA during a signing ceremony at the Zhuhai airshow in 2016. The two companies then laid the cornerstone of this joint-venture in 2017. After receiving CAAC maintenance license in 2019, XIESA received in 2021 approvals from CAAC and EASA to repair and overhaul Airbus A320 landing gears, as well as approval from EASA to repair and overhaul Boeing 737 landing gears. This recently awarded American (FAA) accreditation joins their already awarded Chinese (CAAC) and European (EASA) accreditations.

Initially concentrating on the single aisle market in China, specifically Airbus A320/A321 and Boeing 737 Landing Gear, XIESA has put in place world-class facility, equipment and people to perform full Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) for these landing gear, including all processes required such as Machining, Plating, Painting, Non Destructive Testing, Hydraulic and Electrical repair capabilities, etc. Safran Landing Systems brought to the joint venture its extensive landing gear knowledge and expertise as the Original Equipment (OE) manufacturer. With the care and quality that naturally comes with being associated to the Original Equipment manufacturer whilst at the same time offering an excellent value service, the number of new customers is growing rapidly. With the rapid growth of new customers and business volume, XIESA's future development prospective is very promising.
