CareTrust REIT, Inc. Announces Key Personnel Changes

CareTrust REIT, Inc. announced that noted real estate and healthcare attorney James Callister has joined the Company as General Counsel and Secretary. CareTrust also announced that Lauren Beale, CareTrust’s Controller, has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Controller. Ms. Beale has served as CareTrust’s Controller since September 2014. Prior to joining CareTrust, she worked in Global Portfolio Accounting for The Capital Group Companies, Inc., an investment management firm serving retail and institutional investors. Mr. Callister has been a partner at the Newport Beach, California law firm of Sherry Meyerhoff Hanson & Crance LLP since 2012. Prior to that, he was Counsel in the Newport Beach office of O’Melveny & Myers LLP, and previously served as Assistant General Counsel at Shea Properties.
CareTrust REIT, Inc. is a self-administered, real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company is engaged in the ownership, acquisition, development and leasing of skilled nursing, seniors housing and other healthcare-related properties. The Company owns, directly or through joint ventures, and leased to independent operators, 232 skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), multi-service campuses, assisted living facilities (ALFs) and independent living facilities (ILFs) consisting of approximately 25,128 operational beds and units located in 28 states with the highest concentration of properties by rental income located in California and Texas. It leases healthcare-related properties to healthcare operators in triple-net lease arrangements.
