"I will be serving as one of the voices to promote the advancement opportunities that exist through higher education," Dr. Holst said. "I truly loved Capella. My doctoral program offered by Capella University was rigorous, challenged me, strengthened my skills as a global learner, and informed my pedagogy as an educational leader. As a single, working parent, the ability to access thought leaders in the field, engage in an interactive academic environment, and apply theory to practice while earning my doctoral degree was both rewarding and gratifying. My Capella experience will enable me to better articulate the principles of academic excellence that serve as a foundation for the National Council on Black American Affairs."
