Board Changes

As part of MetroCoal Limited (ASX:MTE) increasing its shareholding in Cape Alumina (ASX:CBX) to 57.2% and the desire to reduce joint operating costs, the following changes are taking place:

 The Board is being reduced to four Directors resulting in the following two changes;

o Rennie Fritschy has resigned from the Cape Alumina Board effective 21 May, but will continue his association with Cape as a Strategic Advisor to the Board.

o Graeme Sherlock will step down as the Managing Director but continue as the

Chief Executive Officer of Cape Alumina.

 Scott Waddell has assumed the CFO and Company Secretary role for MetroCoal, in addition to his current responsibilities at Cape.

Mr Fritschy has been a member of the Board since March 2008 and Cape Alumina's Chairman, Stephen Everett, thanked Mr Fritschy for his significant contribution to the Company over this time.
