One of our strategic priorities is building a winning team and culture. We know that when employees feel that they can be themselves, they will be able to do their best work.

To help cultivate this culture, we've established eight enterprise-wide Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and two Manufacturing Plant Communities (MPCs). Six more plant locations will have MPCs in the coming year.

Why it matters: ERGs encourage employees to:

  • Celebrate their cultures
  • Support professional development opportunities
  • Promote a positive work environment
  • Increase connections and networking opportunities

Our ERGs hold regular member meetings, develop and sponsor programs, and host activities and events for all employees. Learn more about each of our Employee Resource Groups:

Sharing traditions, holidays, and educating employees

ERGs in action: Throughout the year, ERGs host engaging and educational events that:

  • Showcase traditions, holidays, or important cultural topics
  • Offer volunteering and fundraising opportunities for causes the groups support

Check out some of our events from this year:

During Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, members of our Asian Network group hosted a kimbap cooking class where employees learned how to make this beloved Korean dish.
To celebrate Juneteenth, our Black Resource Group invited students from theCamden Repertory Theatre to perform a musical medley in the courtyard at our headquarters during lunch.
Members of our Pride ERG walked in the Haddon Township Pride Parade to show support in our local community.
The Latino Network brought in a food truck with Mexican street tacos and churros twice for employees, once to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and once to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month.

"Being part of Campbell's Latino Network and the ERG programs here has been a fantastic and rewarding experience. I've met amazing people, colleagues, leaders, and teams in cross-functional departments that have become friends and a second family here at work."

Richard Araujo, Latino Network Lead and Customer Sales Lead, Meals & Beverages
Our Veterans Connection group raised funds to sponsor a service dog for a local veteran through the Paws Healing Heroes organization.
Expanding communities of belonging across our plants

This year, 39% of salaried employees were members of one or more ERG. And while our office-based ERGs continue to grow and evolve, so do our plant-based MPCs.

Revamped this year: This year we introduced a concept called "Digital ERG in a Box," where all manufacturing sites were sent materials and an activity to be leveraged at their location so that they could celebrate cultural heritage and observances like Black History Month.

We're proud of what our ERGs have accomplished and how their impact continues to grow across the enterprise.
