SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 14, 2015) - StrongLoop, the leading provider of solutions for APIs developed in Node.js, today announced a partnership with CA Technologies (NASDAQ: CA) in which the companies will collaborate on enabling CA Application Performance Management (APM) to support Node.js and deliver Node training specifically tailored for the enterprise.

The technical collaboration centers around leveraging StrongLoop's development expertise and IP for Node.js and CA's expertise in APM to develop a joint solution that will enable CA APM customers to monitor Node.js applications. This integration will enable enterprises using Node.js applications databases to identify and resolve Node.js performance issues in their applications, databases and backends. By integrating application performance metrics into CA APM, customers can take advantage of intelligent analytics, alerting and intuitive visualizations.

The companies are also launching a campaign to promote and support Node adoption in the enterprise through a series of training events tailored for enterprise developers both online and at select CA Technologies campuses across North America. Both StrongLoop and CA Technologies have recognized that Node is being rapidly adopted by organizations looking to make the most of the emerging API economy by bringing to market APIs, mobile, web and IoT products powered by Node.

Trainings will include:

  • An educational series of webinars to take developers from Node fundamentals to managing production applications
  • Multi-day, in-person Node trainings at select CA Technologies campuses
