C.T.I. Traffic Industries Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 102.421 million compared to TWD 137.108 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 3.679 million compared to operating Income of TWD 3.381 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 1.779 million compared to net income of TWD 4.025 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.04 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.1 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 198.211 million compared to TWD 256.592 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 9.908 million compared to operating Income of TWD 330,000 a year ago. Net loss was TWD 5.773 million compared to net income of TWD 5.727 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.14 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.14 a year ago. Diluted loss per share was TWD 0.14 compared to diluted earnings per share of TWD 0.13 a year ago.
C.T.I. Traffic Industries CO., LTD is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of piston rings and automobile parts. The Company's piston rings include compression rings, chrome plated keystone-type piston rings, steel oil-retaining rings, chrome plated blooming piston rings, nitrides piston rings, and nitrides blooming piston rings, among others. The piston rings are applied in automobiles. Its automobile parts include engine repair kits, automobile lamps, engine parts, brake system parts, timing belt parts and other accessories. The Company distributes its products in domestic market and to overseas markets, including the Americas, Europe, Africa and the rest of Asia.
