BRYN MAWR, Pa. (AP) _ Bryn Mawr Bank Corp. (BMTC) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $16.4 million.

The Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania-based bank said it had earnings of 81 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $70.2 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $59.2 million, beating Street forecasts.

For the year, the company reported profit of $59.2 million, or $2.93 per share. Revenue was reported as $229.8 million.

Bryn Mawr Bank shares have fallen slightly more than 2% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $40.25, an increase of nearly 8% in the last 12 months.
