BrainChip Holdings Limited announced that Peter AJ van der Made has joined the Company's board of directors effective 29 January 2020. Mr. van der Made is a founder of the Company and continues as the Company's Chief Technology Officer. He brings over 40 years of technology development and an expertise in 3rd generation neural networks. Adam Osseiran will step down from the board of directors effective 29 January and will lead the Company's Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Osseiran has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since September 2015. Dr. Osseiran is a professor of electrical engineering at Edith Cowan University Perth, Western Australia. The Company has initiated a global search for a new Chairman of the board of directors. The search will be led by Emmanuel Hernandez, Non-Executive Director and Interim Chairman of the Company and Steve Liebeskind, Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Company's Audit and Governance Committee. The Company has defined specific attributes that are desired in candidates for this important position. With the addition of a new Chairman, the Company will have five directors; three non-executive and two executive directors. The board believes that this composition is appropriate in size, experience and independence for the Company.
