BR Properties S.A. (BOVESPA:BRPR3) entered into a sale purchase agreement to acquire an unknown stake in Torre Corporativa B2 and Torre Corporativa B3-Jatobá from HSI V Fundo de Investimento em Participações a fund managed by Hemisfério Sul Investimentos S.A. for approximately BRL 770 million on October 14, 2019. BR Properties will acquire 100% of commercial property under construction, to be denominated Torre Corporativa B2 - Paineira and approximately, 30% of the commercial property under construction, to be denominated Torre Corporativa B3 - Jatobá both which are located in the real estate development called Condominio Parque da Cidade. BR Properties will give a down payment of BRL 38.305 million today and the balance will be paid on completion of the construction of the property. On completion of the transaction BR Properties will own 101,865 sqm of gross lease area in Condominio Parque da Cidade. On March 23, 2020, the transaction has been unanimously approved by the Board of BR Properties. The transaction is expected to complete in the second semester of 2021.
