Olivier Roussat and Richard Viel appointed respectively Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Telecom

Paris, 9 November 2018 - Further to the Board Meeting of 9 November 2018, Richard Viel was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Telecom. Olivier Roussat, who is also Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues SA, was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bouygues Telecom.

Since joining Bouygues Telecom in 1998, Richard Viel, aged 61, has acquired extensive experience as Director of Customer Relations then Director of the Plan Segment in 2000. In 2002, he became Vice-President, Consumer Marketing, before being appointed Senior Vice-President, Business Services, Wholesale and Development in 2003.

Richard Viel had been Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Telecom since 2007, and as such, has worked in close cooperation with Olivier Roussat.
