BlueRock Diamonds plc announced operating and sales results for the second quarter of 2019. For the quarter, the company reported tonnage 78,759 tonnes up 130% on second quarter 2018 as compared to 34,247 tonnes a year ago. Average grade 4.46 cpht, 82% above the average for 2018.

For the quarter, the company reported 2,517 carats sold in second quarter, up 188% as compared to 875 carats a year ago.

The company also provided production guidance for the years 2019 and 2020. For the year 2019, the company expects to produce volumes of 280,000 - 335,000 tonnes, average grade in the range of 4.25-5.0 cpht, carats in the range of 12,000-16,500 and value per carat of USD 340.

For the year 2020, the company expects to produce volumes of 380,000-430,000 tonnes, average grade in the range of 4.25-5.0 cpht, carats in the range of 16,000-21,500 and value per carat of USD 340.
