BIC GERMANY PARTICIPATES IN LYRECO SALES CONVENTION'S FIRST DIGITAL EVENT
In 2020, the BIC Germany team participated in the first-ever digital edition of the Lyreco Sales Convention, a leading European trade event. Lyreco, which supplies office equipment to large customers including Daimler, Bosch and more, hosts the convention as a key launch event where suppliers can present new products for the upcoming year.
While the event is usually held in person, Lyreco adapted to a digital format due to COVID-19. Consequently, the new virtual offering included dedicated 'brand rooms' for participating suppliers, as well as live instant messaging to preserve the trade show's interactive spirit.
BIC Germany treated this change as an opportunity and seized it to engage attendees through a unique workshop approach with an interactive quiz for entertainment. For sales teams, personal contact is key. As a result of BIC Germany's innovative approach, team members were able to make that essential connection with more than 250 salespeople from across Germany while boosting awareness and sales of BIC products in the region.
