ASX/NASDAQ ANNOUNCEMENT Benitec Biopharma to Present at Biotech Showcase™ 2017 in San Francisco

Sydney Australia, 6 January 2017: Benitec Biopharma Limited (ASX: BLT; NASDAQ: BNTC; NASDAQ: BNTCW) today announced that Dr Cliff Holloway, Chief Business and Operations Officer, will present at the 9th Annual Biotech Showcase™ in San Francisco, CA during the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference. The presentation will take place on 9 January 2017 at the Hilton Union Square in Room 2.

The presentation will provide updates on the recent strategic collaboration with NantVentures to develop a novel anti-­‐EGFR, oncology-­‐focused platform and on the Company's ddRNAi gene-­‐silencing technology programs, including the latest progress in the hepatitis B program.
