Besi Announces Supervisory Board Nomination
Duiven, the Netherlands, March 13, 2012, BE Semiconductor
Industries N.V. ("the Company" or
"Besi") (Euronext: BESI; OTCQX: BESIY), a leading
manufacturer of assembly equipment for the semiconductor
industry, today announced the nomination of Ms Mona
ElNaggar for appointment as Supervisory Board member at the
Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to be held on April
25, 2012 in Duiven, the Netherlands.
Ms ElNaggar (44) has extensive experience in the area of
international finance with particular expertise in asset
management, technology investment banking, international
mergers and acquisitions, and securitized products. Ms
ElNaggar is currently Managing Director and Head of the
London office for The Investment Fund for Foundations
(TIFF), a fund-of-funds manager working exclusively with
American charities, endowments and foundations. Ms ElNaggar
previously founded and ran a private importer of Middle
Eastern jewelry. Prior to that, she was an Executive
Director at Morgan Stanley where she worked in Technology
Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions and Securitized
Products. As a technology banker, Ms ElNaggar's expertise
was in advising semiconductor and semiconductor capital
equipment clients, including ARM, ASML and
STMicroelectronics. Ms ElNaggar, a US and UK citizen, has a
B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago and an MBA
from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Ms
ElNaggar replaces Mr Kin Wah Loh who will resign his
Supervisory Board position at the next Annual General
Meeting of Shareholders as announced previously.
