Base Resources Limited announced production results for the quarter ended December 2018. For the quarter ended December 2018, the company reported Ilmenite production of 108,465 tonnes against 119,209 tonnes a year ago. Rutile production was 24,505 tonnes against 22,798 tonnes a year ago. Zircon production of 8,252 tonnes against 9,569 tonnes a year ago. Ilmenite sales of 106,788 tonnes against 119,554 tonnes a year ago. Rutile sales was 24,008 tonnes against 25,377 tonnes a year ago. Zircon sales was 8,063 tonnes against 8,144 tonnes a year ago.

For the fiscal year 2019 production guidance revised, primarily due to ore characteristics being encountered in the remnants of the Central Dune orebody: It expects production of Rutile to be 88,000 to 94,000 tonnes compared to previously expected 88,000 to 93,000 tonnes, Ilmenite to be 385,000 to 415,000 tonnes compared to previously expected of 420,000 to 450,000 tonnes, and Zircon to be 31,000 to 34,000 tonnes compared to previously expected of 32,000 to 37,000 tonnes.
