Barrick Gold : Michael Brown Announced as President of Barrick U.S.A.

HENDERSON, Nevada, January 28, 2016 - Barrick Gold Corporation is pleased to announce that Michael Brown has been appointed President, Barrick U.S.A.

Michael will be based out of Barrick's new Southern Nevada office in Henderson. His new position strongly emphasizes Barrick's long-term commitment to the state of Nevada.

Mr. Brown has been an advocate for Nevada communities since joining the company in 1994. He serves of the board of several well-known local organizations like Three Square Food Bank, Opportunity Village, The Public Education Foundation and Nevada Ballet Theatre. He is chairman-elect of the board of directors for the Nevada Mining Association and serves as a board member for the National Mining Association.
