Baltiyskiy Zavod AO, formerly Baltiyskiy Zavod OAO, is a Russia-based company involved in the shipbuilding industry and production of machinery for equipping ships. The Company specializes in building of first-rank naval ships, ice-class vessels, such as icebreakers, multi-purpose supply vessels, offshore supply and service vessels with nuclear and diesel-electric propulsion, nuclear floating power units and floating desalination units. The Company manufactures a wide range of power engineering and machine building items, both for internal usage on the own ships built by the shipyard and for supply to other shipyards. Additionally, it operates through machine building division and produces heat-exchange equipment for nuclear power plants, launchers, boiler equipment, marine propellers, shaftings and marine valves, among others.
