Avnet : Embedded EMEA extends the distribution agreement with Seiko Instruments to Italy

After the United Kingdom and France, the Italian customers now have access to the thermal printing solutions sold by Avnet Embedded.

Maidenhead, UK - Avnet Embedded, a business group of Avnet Electronics Marketing EMEA, a business region of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), announced today the extension of its franchise with Seiko Instruments in Europe for thermal printing solutions. This new distribution contract starts immediately and covers now Italy in addition to the United Kingdom and France.
Seiko Instruments Incorporated (SII) is a recognised leader in advanced thermal printing products, who has already delivered more than 50 million units worldwide. Combining silence, performance and quality, the thermal printing solutions address the needs of various markets, in particular applications in industrial automation, in the medical sector, in measurements and analysis, in point of sales.
The extension of the contract signed with Avnet Embedded is a logical step for us seeing the excellent sales results of the company in the United Kingdom and in France », explains Alain Campos, Sales Manager at Seiko Instruments. « Our range of thermal printing solutions is a perfect complement to the other products already distributed by Avnet Embedded.
