Aurona Industries, Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 390.522 million compared to TWD 342.351 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 35.264 million compared to TWD 48.603 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 24.726 million compared to TWD 49.481 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.31 compared to TWD 0.61 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.3 compared to TWD 0.58 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 1,084.690 million compared to TWD 924.510 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 89.820 million compared to TWD 126.213 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 91.491 million compared to TWD 107.746 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.12 compared to TWD 1.35 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.07 compared to TWD 1.26 a year ago.
Aurona Industries Inc is a Taiwan-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture and sales of back-up boards and bakelite plates. The Company also offers wood pulp boards, laminated wood pulp boards, interleaving paper and others. The Company's back-up boards are mainly used in printed circuit board (PCB) drilling process. Its bakelite plates are applied in PCBs, adjustable resistances, pneumatic tools, micro motors, molds, tools, switches, information technology (IT) testing tools and others. The Company distributes its products in Taiwan market, and to the Americas, Europe, the rest of Asia and other markets.
