Atlantic Lithium Ltd (AIM:ALL, OTCQX:ALLIF, ASX:A11) head of business development Len Kolff tells Proactive the company has recorded a continuous pegmatite interval of 106 metres (m) in resource drilling at its Ewoyaa deposit in Ghana, the longest in its 2023 drilling programme. Hole GRC1020 in the Dog-Leg extension target returned the longest interval from just 6m. It lies on the northern tip of the Ewoyaa main deposit. Other holes containing intervals of 51m and 74m were identified, though he says they’re all visual interpretations and need to be assay tested.
"We are excited to have intersected our longest pegmatite interval in the 2023 drilling programme to date, executive chairman Neil Herbert said.
"The coarse-grained, P1-type nature of the spodumene fragments observed in reverse circulation drilling chips is very encouraging as it performs favourably in DMS-only processing, as planned at the Ewoyaa Lithium Processing Plant, with good recoveries."
