Pursuant to the provisions of article 17 of Regulation (EU) no. 596/2014 on market abuse and article 228 of the Law 6/2023, of 17 March, on the Securities Market and Investment Services, and concordant provisions, as well as BME GROWTH Circular 3/2020, we hereby inform you of the following information regarding the company ASTURIANA DE LAMINADOS, S.A. (hereinafter "ELZ" or "the Company" indistinctly).

With reference to the contents of the ORI communicated to the market on 1 February 2024, the Company informs that Mr. Francisco Menéndez Solís has been appointed as the new Managing Director of ELZ, assuming the functions inherent to this position.

Training:

D. Francisco Menéndez Solís holds a degree in Industrial Engineering (1988) and a PhD in Manufacturing Engineering (1990) from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He also holds a Master's Degree in General Business Management (MBA Executive) from ESDEN (1994) and several courses in technical and business management disciplines.

Professional Profile:

He has developed his professional career as a manager in national and multinational companies and organisations - with different shareholding configuration - in sectors such as capital goods, automotive, agri-food, robotics, turnkey projects, industrial services and business organisations, holding positions as Production Manager, Quality Manager, Commercial Manager, General Manager and Vice-President, also forming part of several Boards of Directors or governing bodies.
