Asset Plus Limited (NZSE:APL) entered into a conditional agreement to acquire 35 Graham Street in Auckland from Auckland Council for NZD 58 million on April 29, 2019. The acquisition will be funded by a debt facility from BNZ. The transaction is subject to approval of shareholders of Asset Plus Limited at a meeting expected to be held in the first two weeks of June. On May 29, 2019, Asset Plus Limited issued notice to its shareholders for special meeting to be held on June 17, 2019. The Board of Directors of Asset Plus Limited unanimously recommended its shareholders to vote in favor of the transaction. As of June 17, 2019, shareholders of Asset Plus Limited has approved the transaction. The transaction is expected to be settled on June 28, 2019 and is expected to be accretive to earnings.
