During the weekend, Arctic Blue Beverages’ Navy Strength Gin was awarded with a silver medal in the category “Finnish Gins“ at UISGE 2024.

UISGE is a whisky festival held in the banqueting hall of The Old Student House in Helsinki, Finland. This year the two-day event was organised for the twelfth time. Visitors could taste over 400 different products such as whiskies, rums, cognacs and gins, even products that are not yet available on the market. During the event, producers and importers showcased their portfolios giving visitors the opportunity to taste, discuss and learn about their products.

Prior to the event, a jury selected the best whiskies, rums and gins through blind testing. The winners were revealed at the event opening.

Sara Käld, Marketing Manager at Arctic Blue Beverages is happy with the feedback received during the event: “Visitors were enthusiastic to see the expansion of our product portfolio and eagerly tried our gin variants. Even though many came to UISGE to taste whisky, our Arctic Blue Laku liqueur also drew attention and visitors were interested to explore its taste. The unique combination of gin and liquorice was new to many, but the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.”
