Angus Energy plc announced that George Lucan has notified the Board of his intention to step down as Executive Chair with effect from 14th August 2023. The search for a new non-executive Chair has been initiated.

Angus Energy plc is a United Kingdom-based independent onshore oil and gas development company. The Company is engaged in the onshore, conventional production and development of hydrocarbons in the United Kingdom. The Company has an 80% interest of Brockham (PL235), 80% interest of Lidsey (PL241), 25% interest of Balcombe (PEDL244) and 100% interest of Saltfleetby Gas Field (PEDL005). The Saltfleetby Gas Field is located onshore United Kingdom in license PEDL005, producing gas from East Lincolnshire. The Balcombe site lies approximately eight kilometers (KM) southeast of Crawley near the village of Balcombe. The Lidsey oil field is located in the production license PL241, onshore West Sussex near Bognor Regis, on the southern flank of the Weald Basin. The Brockham oil field is located in the Weald Basin, onshore United Kingdom. The Company's subsidiaries include Angus Energy Holdings UK Limited, Angus Energy Weald Basin No.1 Limited, Saltfleetby Energy Limited, and others.
