American Restaurant Holdings, Inc. announced that Kurt Schaeffer has joined its management team as Vice President of Operations. Kurt has over 20 years of restaurant industry experience as an Executive Chef, Operations Chef, and Corporate Trainer for both the front and back of the house. He has had multi-unit responsibility including all aspects of cost controls, labor controls, and new menu development.

Mr. Schaeffer has worked in various roles both on the line and in a corporate capacity at McCormick & Schmick's and the Alcatraz Brewing Company where he oversaw the operations of four locations in three states.
