Allied Healthcare Products, Inc. Announces Executive Changes, Effective April 30, 2021

Allied Healthcare Products, Inc. as previously announced on February 25, 2021, Earl R. Refsland will retire from the position of President on April 30, 2021. In addition, on April 20, 2021, Mr. Refsland announced that he would also resign from the Board of Directors effective upon his retirement. On April 20, 2021, the Board of Directors of company approved the appointment of Joseph F. Ondrus, Jr. as President to succeed Mr. Refsland, effective immediately upon his retirement. The Board of Directors also appointed Mr. Ondrus to the Board to fill the vacancy created by Mr. Refsland. This appointment will be effective on April 30, 2021. Mr. Ondrus has over 40 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing and management. Since September 2021, Mr. Ondrus has been employed by the Company as Vice President – Operations. From July 2020 until September 2021, Mr. Ondrus was employed by the Company in a temporary position as Interim Director of Operations with primary responsibility for production of the Company’s AHP300 ventilator.
Allied Healthcare Products, Inc. manufactures a variety of respiratory products used in the health care industry in a range of hospital and alternate site settings, including sub-acute care facilities, home health care and emergency medical care. The Companyâs product lines include respiratory care products, medical gas equipment and emergency medical products. Its suction regulators and aspirators include Chemetron Vacuum Traps, Disposable Collection Canisters, Gomco Suction Equipment, Gomco OptiVac AC/DC Portable Suction Unit, Gomco 305 Aspirator, Gomco Tabletop Aspirator Model 300, Gomco General Use Aspirators Models 3020 & 3040, and Gomco Uterine Aspirators Models 3930 & 4072. Its ventilators include AHP300 Transport Ventilator, EPV100/EPV200 Emergency Preparedness Ventilators, LSP AutoVent 2000/3000 Transport Ventilator, and LSP AutoVent 4000 Transport Ventilator. Its emergency medical products are used in the treatment of trauma-induced injuries.
