Allena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company engaged in developing and commercializing oral enzyme therapeutics to treat patients with rare and severe metabolic and kidney disorders. The Company is focused on metabolic disorders that result in excess accumulation of certain metabolites that can cause kidney stones, damage the kidney, and potentially lead to chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage renal disease (ESRD). The Company's lead product candidate, ALLN-346, is an orally administered, urate-degrading enzyme for patients with hyperuricemia and gout in the setting of advanced CKD. The Company is conducting two Phase IIa for ALLN-346.
