Aisei Pharmacy Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the operation of dispensing pharmacy business. Along with its subsidiaries, it operates in two business segments. The Dispensing Pharmacy segment is engaged in the operation of pharmacies which dispense the medicines to general patients based on the prescriptions issued by medical institutions. The Others segment operates day service facilities, group homes and pay nursing homes, which provide care support services. The Segment is also engaged in the leasing of drugstores and medical clinics, as well as the purchasing and wholesale of generic drugs, among others. As of March 31, 2013, the Company had eight consolidated subsidiaries and one affiliated company. On November 1, 2013, the Company acquired 100% stake of a Japan-based company which operates drug stores.
