AES Brasil Energia S.A. Approves Distribution for Second Quarter of 2021, Payable on September 22, 2021

AES Brasil's management approved the distribution of BRL 24.2 million in interim dividends for second quarter of 2021, corresponding to BRL 0.06052081242 per share, which corresponds to an 88% payout and a dividend yield of 3.2% (last twelve months). The record date is August 09, 2021 and the Company's stock will trade "ex-dividend" as from August 10, 2021. The amounts distributed as interim dividends are exempt from withholding income tax (IRRF), in accordance with Article 10 of Federal Law 9,249/95, as amended, and payment will be made on September 22, 2021.
