Aeroflot introduced collection of eco-friendly amenity kits in anniversary design 30 March 2023

March 30, 2023, Moscow. - Aeroflot introduced a limited collection of amenity kits for business class passengers. In the new kits the airline minimized the use of plastic and packaging film, which reduces the amount of waste and negative environmental impact.

The new kits were designed using the Russian avant-garde style, which became the key theme of the airline's anniversary year. The size and shape of amenity kits depend on the duration and direction of a flight. On flights lasting from 3 to 6 hours passengers are offered smaller amenity kits, and on flights lasting over 6 hours - larger. On flights, departing from Moscow, the cosmetic bags will be oval-shaped, and on return flights - rectangular. Thus, after making a round-trip flight, a passenger will receive two different kits. In addition, every season (spring, summer and autumn) amenity kits will be with a new print.

Inside each kit, passengers will receive cosmetics from premium brands, a souvenir ball pen, a comb, a shoehorn and a comfortable eye mask. Depending on the duration of a flight, passengers are offered hand cream, face cream*, lip balm, toothpaste.

Toothbrush, comb and shoehorn from amenity kits are made using biodegradable wheat materials. Hygiene items are delivered in a package made of recycled paper, which reduces the consumption of packaging film. Amenity kits are a takeaway, reminding of the 100th anniversary of the airline, which corresponds to the concept of reasonable consumption.

The airline is constantly taking measures that help reduce the environmental impact, use natural resources responsibly and fight climate change.
