Aeroflot Group Announces Operating Results for May 2023

Moscow- Aeroflot PJSC (Moscow Exchange ticker: AFLT) today announces Aeroflot Group operating results for May and 5M 20231.

Key highlights of May 2023:

Aeroflot Group carried 3.7 million passengers, 35.9% up vs. May 2022, including 3.0 million passengers in domestic segment, 18.4% up vs. 2022.

Passenger traffic increased month-on-month in line with seasonal trends (3.4 and 3.3 million passengers in April and March 2023 respectively).

Total passenger traffic also increased by 3.9% compared to May 2021.

Group's RPK increased by 44.9% year-on-year, ASK increased by 40.7% vs. May 2022.

Passenger load factor amounted to 83.4%, up by 2.4 p.p. year-on-year, in domestic segment - 86.5%, 5.5 p.p. up vs. May 2022 and remains at record levels.

Aeroflot Airlines carried 2.0 million passengers, up by 55.2% year-on-year, including 1.4 million passengers in domestic segment. Aeroflot's RPK increased by 62.9% year-on-year.

On-time performance

In 2023, Aeroflot Group performed flights with high punctuality.

The punctuality index of the Group's network airlines (Aeroflot Airlines and Rossiya Airlines) in May 2023 was 94.8%, and of Aeroflot Airlines - 95.6%.
