11th March 2014 - Geneva, Switzerland, ADB (Advanced Digital Broadcast) announced today that 013 Netvision, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cellcom Israel Ltd., has deployed ADB's integrated VDSL home gateway running ADB Epicentro® software to underpin its next-generation broadband services.

The ADB P.RG AV4202N VDSL home gateway acts as a multi-service hub for high-speed internet and voice over broadband service and allows Netvision to easily provision premium connected home applications and services.

ADB's professional services team has been responsible for the systems integration and testing of the deployment at Netvision.

"ADB's proven expertise in delivering solutions for connected home services was key to our decision," said Haim Noama, Head of Product and Services at Netvision. "The ability to launch and manage a range of compelling connected home applications and services during the last year is already proving to be a very attractive proposition for our subscribers."

"Our VDSL home gateways running Epicentro software give broadband operators around the world the opportunity to gain additional market share, increase revenue and reduce operating costs by extending beyond traditional services to embrace OTT applications and services," said Peter Balchin, CEO at ADB.

The ADB P.RG AV4202N residential gateway running the award-winning Epicentro software provides operators with a state-of-the-art platform that can evolve to take advantage of new technologies, extending its ROI. Epicentro's modular design, standards-based architecture and APIs provide operators with a structured framework from which to aggregate and link to third-party services.

The gateway is designed to maximise the user experience and quality of service by prioritising certain types of data transmission. Support for the TR-069 protocol allows operators to reduce support costs by remotely provisioning services, managing software and monitoring in-home device performance.
