Brand Strategy for Real Estate Investment Corporation

ITOCHU REIT Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "IRM") and AD Investment Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "ADIM") will develop a new brand strategy by unifying the names of the two listed J-REITs (ITOCHU Advance Logistics Investment Corporation and Advance Residence Investment Corporation) under the management and the private placement REIT (Advance Private Investment Corporation) which is planned to be launched in July 2022 as "Advance 〇〇 Investment Corporation" in anticipation of the merger of management company, ADIM and IRM as of June 1 2022, as disclosed on January 27, 2022.

This is intended to establish a new brand for the REIT by ITOCHU Group's real estate investment management company using the name "Advance" which has been widely used for more than 16 years in the J-REIT market, based on the management performance of Advance Residence Investment Corporation, the largest J-REIT specialized in residential properties, and to strategically promote the brand widely in the financial and real estate markets.

ITOCHU Corporation (hereinafter "ITOCHU") will actively support the development of the brand strategy by the investment management subsidiary and provide strong sponsorship as part of its efforts to strengthen its real estate asset management business, as described in ITOCHU's press release dated February 2, 2022.

As part of this brand strategy, "ITOCHU Advance Logistics Investment Corporation", a J-REIT specialized in logistics facilities, will be renamed as "Advance Logistics Investment Corporation". The name change will be a matter to be resolved at the general meeting of unitholders scheduled to be held on April 27, 2022. In order to obtain the necessary resolution for the name change, we plan to post a notice of convocation as well as supplementary explanatory materials on the agenda on the website of the investment corporation. In addition, IRM plans to explain its contents during the IR works for the 7th fiscal period of the Investment Corporation.
