Russell Knox announced as new Aberdeen Asset Management golf ambassador

Aberdeen Asset Management, the global investment management group, has announced a new player sponsorship with the signing of Scottish-born golfer Russell Knox as one of its brand ambassadors.

Knox, 29, a Professional golfer since 2007 is currently playing on the PGA Tour and will be seen playing in the Sony Open, Hawaii this week. He is currently 23rd in the Fed-Ex standings and has an Official World Golf Ranking of 104.

As part of the agreement, Knox will wear the Aberdeen Asset Management corporate logo on the collar of his golf shirt and play in the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open at Gullane Golf Club in July 2015.

Aberdeen has been a long-time golf sponsor and Knox will join a portfolio of sponsored players which includes Colin Montgomerie, Paul Lawrie, Martin Laird and Catriona Matthew.

The deal will help promote the Aberdeen Asset Management brand in the US and around the world.
