VILNIUS, July 15 (Reuters) - Lithuanian state-controlled energy company Ignitis Group will dismantle and donate all the equipment of a disused thermal power plant to Ukraine, it said on Monday.

The transfer is part of a 50 million euro ($54.51 million)equipment programme that four Lithuanian state-controlled energy companies will donate to Ukraine, country's Energy ministry said on Monday.

Russia has been targeting Ukrainian energy infrastructure recently, causing blackouts.

The Soviet-built Vilnius thermal power plant, which had a power production capacity of 360 megawatts (MW) and heat producing capacity of 603 MW, has been disused for nine years, but its equipment has been kept in working condition, Ignitis said in a statement.
