Today, the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, announced support of $786,961 for 12 projects in Saskatchewan, under the Government of Canada's Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program.
Through a commitment of $150 million, the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program will support communities across Canada, providing them with the funding they need to make lasting improvements to local infrastructure, creating an enduring legacy as the country prepares to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Confederation in 2017.
The Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program will help fund renovations, expansions and rehabilitations to existing infrastructure that provides community and cultural benefits to the public.
