By Viscount Systems, a leading edge high technology supplier of security systems and software, announced today that the company has received its first international orders for its new Liberty IT-based access control platform through a distributor in Dubai, UAE. The initial order is for 10 Liberty systems. The distributor plans to begin marketing Liberty to its extensive client list in Dubai and throughout the Middle East.

About Viscount's Freedom and Liberty Access Control Solutions
Freedom is the first and only access control system that allows entry devices (ID cards, RFID readers, biometrics, etc.) to be connected to, and controlled by, standard building IT networks without requiring expensive control panels and wiring. This eliminates up to 80% of the cost of traditional access control systems and provides a green, environmentally friendly solution. Freedom also enables existing IT databases (Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP) to replace the software component of traditional systems.
