Zerdin won the laughs of Americans when he earned first place on Season 10 of “America’s Got Talent” in 2015. The victory secured Zerdin a headlining act on the Las Vegas Strip at the Planet Hollywood Resort.

“Paul Zerdin was a fan favorite on ‘America’s Got Talent’ and is another example of the diverse talent that performs at The Event Center,” said Wendy Hamilton, general manager of SugarHouse Casino. “For comedy fans, this is an act they won’t want to miss.”

By incorporating stand-up into his routine, Zerdin has revolutionized the art of ventriloquism by bringing fresh, contemporary comedy to the stage. His performance brings to life several puppets spanning various stages of life, ranging from the precocious baby to pre-teen-aged Sam, to the belligerent, elderly Albert. The characters, combined with Zerdin’s comedic timing, have catapulted him to the top echelon of ventriloquists, which includes Jeff Dunham and Terry Fader.

Zerdin’s career has spanned nearly 25 years and his performances have included three appearances on the televised “Royal Variety Performance that is attended by senior members of the British royal family. In addition to his stage and small screen appearances, he was named the first winner of London Weekend Television’s “The Big Big Talent Show,” making him a household name in British comedy.

Tickets for Zerdin’s show, and for all SugarHouse performances, including R&B artist Jeffrey Osborne’s concert on Feb. 10 and the Walk Off The Earth show March 24, can be purchased online at the SugarHouse Casino Event Center page.

In addition to live performances and concerts, the SugarHouse Casino Event Center can be reserved for a variety of other occasions, including weddings, corporate receptions, seminars, trade shows and more. The space features floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views of the Delaware River waterfront and the Ben Franklin Bridge. Parking is always free.
