"Unfortunately it's just another horrible day for Ukraine. From the outside it may seem that we must be used to it by now, but unfortunately we are not, and this is just another tragedy. This tragedy took away the lives of not only the people who were in the helicopter, which was the Ministry of the interior leadership, including the minister and his deputies; the helicopter crashed just outside a kindergarten and unfortunately killed several children," she said.
"On a personal level, the only thing I can say is that I personally knew the minister very well and for me this is particularly hard because it's a personal blow as well," she added.
