2016 was very busy with training activities. UITP organised around 50 training courses all over the world including five new countries for the first time. Altogether, our classroom courses and customised programmes attracted participants from around 200 different companies. We also launched nine new training topics and new partnerships.

This year promises to be even more exciting with a greater and diversified training offer to meet the challenges in our sector. Digitalisation, electrification, automation, shared services and many more important issues will be addressed in our training courses.

Our calendar currently includes more than 25 public training programmes covering hot topics like emergency preparedness and crisis management, new mobility services, operation of public transport during mega events, ticketing, maintenance, funding and financing, electric buses, automated metros, etc. More public courses will be announced in the coming months and customised programmes adapted to the needs of your company are also available.

The venues include cities from Europe, MENA, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Africa and Eurasia will give you the opportunity to discover different public transport systems all over the world.

Another highlight will be the 2017-2018 edition of our expert-level Training Programmes for Managers in Public Transport - a year-long course composed of three modules in three different countries and additional online sessions organised between the modules.
