The summit is held at the premises of the TATNEFT company's 'Yunost' summer recreation camp the participation of Pavel Sorokin, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, Alexei Sazanov, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, Oleg Sinyashin, Scientific Director of the KazSC RAS, Federal Research Center, officials of ministries and departments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, territorial offices of federal departments, heads of cities and areas of the oil region of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads and chief experts of oil producing, service, petrochemical and oil refining companies of the Republic.

The Oil Summit has acquired an international status since 2019. In 2021, it has been also organized at the same site with the IInd International Oil and Gas Youth Forum 'Hackathon Oil Tech Challenge 2021' with the participation of leading specialized experts in the fuel and energy complex and the sustainable development experts.

The summit participants have got acquainted with the exhibition of advanced oil technologies, where such companies as PJSC TATNEFT, OOO NCHTZ, OOO RITEK, JSC Kvart, TAPART, OOO NPF Modul, OOO Promtekhkomplekt - mezhregion, OOO 'ServiceInformationPartnership' and the Almetyevsk State Oil Institute presented their accomplishments.

TATNEFT presented practical actions of the TATNEFT Group within the framework of the global climate agenda; the Company's projects in the field of renewable energy sources, as well as the moves aimed at the transition to a circular economy through responsible resource consumption.

The plenary session of the Oil Summit has been held in the format of a panel discussion and has been devoted to a topical subject of sustainable development in the context of the global agenda of the fuel and energy complex in 2021. The panelists have discussed new risks and business opportunities in the area of ??sustainable development; decarbonization focus areas of the oil and gas business; development of the circulation economy in the fuel and energy complex, etc.

The hackathon has been launched at the end of the plenary part within the framework of the IInd International Oil and Gas Youth Forum, where the attending persons participants in formed teams will solve real business problems, participate in headliner master classes on key subjects of the Forum.
