New statistics on emissions by industry, quarterly municipal and joint municipal board finances, and financial intermediation will be published. Compilation of statistics on insurance activities will be transferred from the Financial Supervision Authority to Statistics Finland in 2013.
The statistics on municipality and joint municipal board financial statement estimates and quarterly statistics on the finances of municipalities will be discontinued during 2013. Their data content will be replaced with the more extensive quarterly municipal and joint municipal board finances statistics. Credit card and financial leasing statistics will be discontinued as independent statistics, and in the future, their data will be published in connection with the financial intermediation statistics. In addition, the credit stock statistics will be discontinued.
