Statistical Office of Republic of Slovenia : In November 2016 agricultural input prices lower on average by 0.6%

Agricultural input price indices
With the agricultural input price indices we observe the movement of prices of goods and services currently consumed in agriculture (e.g. prices of seeds of crops, of fertilizers, of animal feedingstuffs, etc.) and of goods and services contributing to agricultural investment (e.g. prices of agricultural machinery and other equipment).

In November 2016 negative price growth of agricultural input prices
In November 2016 the agricultural input prices decreased at the monthly level on average by 0.6%, but at the annual level they were lower on average by 1.8%.

Prices of goods and services currently consumed in agriculture lower on average by 0.9%
The prices of goods and services currently consumed in agriculture decreased in November 2016 compared to October 2016 on average by 0.9%, while compared to November 2015 they were lower on average by 3.1%.

Animal feedingstuffs went down in November 2016 on average by 4.7%
Prices of animal feedingstuffs decreased in November 2016 compared to October 2016 on average by 4.7%. Prices of straight feedingstuffs decreased on average by 8.4% and prices of compound feedingstuffs by 4.5%. As regards prices of compound feedingstuffs, prices of compound feedingstuffs for calves decreased the most (on average by 5.2%), followed by prices of compound feedingstuffs for poultry (on average by 4.8%), while the least decreased prices of other compound feedingstuffs (for sheep and goats), namely on average by 2.4%.

Slightly price increase of goods and services contributing to agricultural investment
The prices of goods and services contributing to agricultural investment were in November 2016 on average by 0.1% higher than in October 2016 and by 1.2% than in November 2015.

At the monthly level, prices of materials also in November 2016 did not change, while prices of buildings increased on average by 0.4%.
